Mergers & Acquisitions

Contemplating the sale of a business as an exit strategy, acquiring a new business, or merging with another business is a major undertaking. It may also be the most important decision a businessperson or company can make.

Our team of highly experienced corporate lawyers provides the sophisticated advice and technical skills of prior big-firm corporate partners paired with the efficiency and personal attention of a boutique firm to help our clients successfully navigate such transactions. In fact, our M&A team was recently honored by Acquisition International Magazine’s M&A Awards as the “Most Trusted Boutique Law Firm of the Year in the USA.”  We routinely assist our clients with all aspects of related business transactions, from advising on structuring the transaction and negotiating the business deal, to preparing legal documents, obtaining necessary regulatory approvals, and seeing the transaction through to completion.

We combine creative thinking with practical implementation. We are experienced in all types of M&A transactions, including asset acquisitions, stock acquisitions, mergers, spin-offs, split-offs, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships. Our experience runs the gamut of industries as well, including:

  • Energy
  • Internet Media
  • Manufacturing
  • Professional Practices
  • Real Estate
  • Retail and Commercial Services
  • Software Businesses
  • Technology

Our international attorneys have managed mergers and acquisitions in more than a dozen countries outside the United States, including China, Australia, Singapore, France, Germany, United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Brazil, Mexico, and Canada.
