William “Bill” Eisenstadt is a former general counsel with broad experience spanning industries from industrial to technology and the full range of challenges from start-up to large corporations. In his role as outside general counsel, Bill provides the benefits of an in-house general counsel who understands the client’s business without the need and expense of hiring full time employees. Bill’s experience affords clients practical, result-oriented approaches to the many issues confronting businesses today to enable the client’s businesses, not disable them.

Prior Experience
Most recently, Bill was President and CEO of Nautilis Law Group, LLC in Philadelphia, PA. In this position, Bill provided legal advice and business-centered general counsel expertise to small and medium cap companies, developed and implement systems that support client’s growth, built and protect assets and manage risk, and represented clients in complex, long-term multi-million-dollar infrastructure construction and operation projects, including creating multi-entity project delivery teams, structuring and negotiating projects.

Prior to his position with Nautilis, Bill was General Counsel for Synagro Technologies, the country’s preeminent provider of Biosolids and residuals solutions services. They operate in 34 states and service more than 600 municipal and industrial water and wastewater facilities including cogeneration and advanced processing facilities. Bill served as part of executive team to provide strategic legal and operational management support for all operating divisions, including M&A; Environmental, Health, Safety & Transportation; and Product Marketing.

From 2002 to 2008, Bill was Vice President and General Counsel for American Water Enterprises Group, located in Voorhees, NJ.  From 2000 to 2002, Bill was Vice President of Law and General Counsel for Clariti Telecommunications International, Ltd., a publicly traded international telecom company with significant wireless technological development and international deployment programs.

In the early part of his career, Bill was Senior Counsel for Consolidated Rail Corporation, the largest freight railroad system in the Northeastern U.S. with operations in 14 states and Canada and annual revenues of $4B. Bill directed legal services for M&A, corporate transactions, contracts, strategic planning, real estate, general corporate governance and litigation management and served as a member of company’s strategic planning council. Bill worked with Consolidated Rail Corporation from 1986-2009.
