
Jeremiah J. Atkins
Jeremy is a general corporate attorney who counsels companies throughout New Jersey and beyond, with a focus on supporting the Firm’s “general counsel” model. Jeremy provides clients with a broad range of services covering a variety of employment-related matters while always striving to obtain cost-effective solutions. This includes matters related to alleged discrimination, retaliation, harassment, Family and Medical Leave and whistleblowing claims, both prelitigation and before New Jersey State and Federal courts. Jeremy also guides his clients through the process of developing and implementing employment contracts, restrictive covenant agreements, policies and handbooks.
Jeremy is a native of Gloucester County where he resides with his wife and children.
Prior Experience
After graduating from law school, Jeremy served a judicial clerkship with the Hon. Richard S. Hoffman, J.A.D., in the Salem County Superior Court. Thereafter, Jeremy worked as an assistant Prosecutor with the Salem County Prosecutor’s Office. Prior to joining Lauletta Birnbaum, Jeremy was an attorney with Hoffman DiMuzio in Woodbury for several years.
